ROCKY OBBIKN was a prominent and game contender till the way. KING OLYMPIAN showed the most arly speed and set a fast pace, but was tiring at the end. AL MFLLF.R ran forwardly and finished gamely, but had to go wide in the stretch. MclVOR dosed a trap and was gaining fast at the end. ETHELDA and OXER ran poorly. NETHERMOST showed improvement and finished close up. LOUIS KATZ closed a big gap. OTILO dropped out of forward contention after going a half mile. VANEN made up much ground. FAFNTLEROY seems in bad form and ran poorly. CUY FISHER came fast around the last turn, then tired. J. II. REED quit.
