RESERVATIONS FOR C0EUR DALENE STALLS. Spokane, Wash.. June 14.— The clatter of the hammer at the Lake City track is like music in the cats 01 Superintendent W. W. Finn of the Coeur dAlene Fair aad Racing Association, for a large corps of carpenters is at work on the grandstand and stalls ol the new mile track near Post Falls. Idaho. Over eighty of the 566 stalls to 1„. erected at the Idaho track an- 111 readiness, while much of th«» preliminary work on Hi,, grandstand has been completed. The grandstand alone. 25"x7o feet with a capacity of 4.7 KI, requires 210.000 feet of lumber. wiuie the stalls and feme account for 109.000 more. bringing the grand total U| to 415.00". A feature ot the grandstand will lie the inclined aisles. Which will eliminate the steep steps seen in so main-stands. Probably the biggest stalde to be shipped here for the Lake City meeting will he that of Irving H. Wheatcroft. who will ship thirty-four of the St. James Stable horses to the new track. H. G. Bedwel] will campaign thirtv-two horses during tin- meeting, while Wade McLetnore will invade this section witli a string of seven. Earl Linnell, owner of Black Mat. and other g i horses, baa asked for stalls for ten horses. J. H. Adams, who is running eight hors. s at Lagoon, has also reserved stalis. ateaartJ from British Columbia indicate that .100 horses will invade Idaho from that section.
