FORT ERIE STALLS WELL FILLED. Nearly Five Hundred Horses at Canadian Track Ready for Saturdays Opening. Buffalo. N. Y.. June 2S.— The arrival of flat * stables of Albert Simons and James Kowe from Hamilton and tin- strings owned by Lon Johnson, Homer II. Selby and K. W. Hellner from Latouia. brings the total number of horses stabled, at Fort Kite ready for the opening on Saturilav up to about 150. Interest in the opening lavs racing will of course center in the ranking of the Canadian Derbv. All of the prominent three year olds that have been racing at tiie VToodMne, Dine Bonnets and Hamilton meetings are eligible to start. Lahore is carded as .a starter in the Derby. Great things were expected of this colt last spring, but he trained off and only recently rounded to.
