EUBANKS made up ground and stood the final drive gamely. TILLIES NIGHTMARE had no inishups. SPRITE tired badly nfter setting a fast pace for the first half mile. IMPRUDENT, away well, won all the way. but had to be driven hard in the stretch to outstay HELEN!:. The latter ran in her best form and but for being bumped several times in the stretch bv the winner, might have won. FLYING FOOTSTEPS ran well and had no mishaps. PRESUMPTION Bhowed the most speed, set a fast pace for the going and had no mishaps AMON was away slowly, but closed a big gap and finished fastest of all. WHEELWRIGHT was in the worst going most of the way. ALAMITOS ran fairly well. THE MANAGER could not run freely in the going and dropped out of forward contention at once. LEAMENCE ran well, but tired near the end STAR CHARTER moved up rapidly at the half-mile ground, but quit badly on the following turn, and was eased up in the stretch.
