STEEPLECHASERS GOING TO SARATOGA. New York, July 20. Witli one or two exceptions, all of the stables quartered at Belmont Park will be shipped to Saratoga this week. A big percentage of the horses already stabled at Horse Haven ami the main track at the Spa arc steeplechasers and most of the collection selected for shipment to the Springs in a few days are also those that have qualified in cioss-country racing. It is likely that there will be a hunt meeting of three days duration at Saratoga iu the absence of regular racing. Hempstead, Mineola, Babylon tfnd other adjacent towns motored to the course to watch tin- trials, most of which were as spectacular as real lacing. Silas Veitch, who is handling the most formidable string of jumpers in this country, lias gone along patientlv with his several sets and they are muscled and up to a stiff race Trainer Veitchs barn now houses seventeen horses, a couple of which are recent additions.
