STICKERi WINS RACE AT BUTTE. Butte. Mont., August 1. Despite lowering skies that portended rain a good-sized crowd attended the races here this afternoon and profited yvell ou the days sport, as three of their selections and a well-hacked second choice finished first. The feature of an ordinary card was the fourth race, at one mile and twenty yards, and post time found Sticker, the Bedwell candidate, a topheavy favorite in the bet-ling, which confidence she fully justified by winning yvith ease after setting a hot pace all the way. Jockev Rooney. who fell with Nada Mas in the first race, was so badly shaken up that he was compelled to cancel his engagements for the remainder of the afternoon.
