COMMONERS TOUCH, off forwardly, forced the early pace and drew awav fast when straightened out in the homestretch. SENEGAMBIAN began slowly, but was fortunate in hiding an opening on the inside when entering the homestretch and was a fast going second. AUTO MAID ran in forward contention from the start, but had to be hard ridden to outstay INSPECTOR LESTKAPB Tor third place. The latter ran well and was on the outside all the way. DAY MAY Quit after setting a fast pace to the stretch. TOASTRACIC also emit after running second for a half mile. KING AVONDALE was forced to overcome much early interference and finished fast. CHERISH was as good as left and. ran a good race. EAGLE BIRD set a fast pace to the stretch and tired in the final drive. CASQUE loomed up on the stretch turn, but failed to stay. RYE STRAAV tired. The latter was shullled back In the early running, but worked his way up on the outside and. finishing with a rush, almost got up to win. ALDEBARAN was sharply cut off on the turn out of the baekstretrh, where he dropped bark, but came again in the homestretch and finished with a rush. HAMILTON ran well. VESTIBULE met with interference. BURLY and ALAMITOS unit in the last furlong after running prominently to the stretch. Scratched 97251Gold Blade, 122. The latter ran in close pursuit of the pacemaker from the start and raced him into subjection, but tired near the end of a fast and game effort. BOB R. closed a big gap and finished gamely into a close up third. COLONEL ASHMEADE set a very fast pace for a mile and tired. SUPERVISOR ran well, but was carried wide when entering the homestretch and gave way in the last sixteenth. BARNEY IGOE ran fairly well. SECONKE showed speed.
