COUP BROUGHT OFF ON SANDY HILL. Toronto, Out.. August S. Jockey Bergen, who had the mount on Shot in the fourth nice at Diifferiii Iark today, was severely injured by being thrown. His mount stumbled on the backstretch and he foil heavily. A hasty medical examination disclosed that his shoulder blade was injured. The card was featureless and brought together a poor bunch of selling platers. The stable of Frank Burrows, which includes Bill Lamb. Cat and Goldfern, will be sold at auction tomorrow afternoon. Hicks Keefe purchased Donaldo from D. OConnor and the latter bought Battson from the former Sandy Hill was the medium of the heaviest backing of the meeting.
