MUSKOGEE WINNERS WELL BACKED. Muskogee, Okla.. August S. The large crowd that turned out was well rewarded, as five of the winners were well backed. M. J. ODonnell. owner of Tallow Dip. ran Lady Maxim np over her entered price and her owner let her go at that figure. Mr. ODonnell did not make his bid good and she was returned to her owner after being offered at auction a second time. Speculation was heavy and an improvement is looked for each day In the attendance. Flying Pearl, the odds-on choice in the feature race, propped after the barrier was released.
