NEGOTIATING TOR WOODLANDS FARM. St. Louis, Mo., August S. It was reported on good authority in real estate circles Monday that W. K. Kavauaugh. president of the Lakes to the Gulf Deep Waterways Association, had purchased Woodlands, Barney Schreibers stock farm, between BrJdgeton and Florissant, St. Louis County. AV. F. Carter, vice-president of the Mercantile Trust Company, admitted that negotiations were well. The valuation placed on the Srogresslilg chreiber farm is said to have been 75,000. There are 540 acres in the tract. Negotiations have been based on the prospect of transfering Kennett Castle. Mr. Kavanaughs country place on the Mississippi river, near Salem, Mo., to Mr. Schreiber at a valuation of 25,000. Mr. Carter said the deal had not been closed as yet. Mr. Kavanaugh admitted that he had been looking over the Schreiber property, but said no deal had been closed. The negotiations do not extend to the 300 race horses that are at AAoodlands.
