NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockey Kennedy is having trouble in making 110 pounds or so. Jockey J. Deavenport will have the mount on Royal Report in the Kentucky Endurance Stakes. F. A. Forsythe has some thirty broodmares at Fountainblue Stud, in Mercer County, Kentucky. Hi Is breeding this year to Filigraue. Out of Reach and Doraute. It is the lattcrs first regular season in the stud. Nadzu, Markie M., Royal Report, Fireman, Cherry-ola. Starbottle, Robert Bruce, Messenger Boy and Aylmer are reckoned sure starters in the Kentucky Endurance Stakes at Churchill Downs next Saturday. Col. J. P. Chinn is breeding most of his mares at Leonatus Stud to Ort AAelis, and he thinks the brother to Dick AVelles will finally prove a success as a sire. Col. Chinn still owns some twenty broodmares and his weanlings this season arc in his opinion the equal of any he ever reared. Samuel C. Hildreth decided to keep Filz Herbert. Joe Madden. Puggiiis and Little Pal at his Sheepshead Bay barn during his autumn campaign in Maryland. Novelty, winner of the Futurity: Zeus, Resligouche, Shannon, Hampton Court, Dlnna Ken, AVooderaft. Gold Blade. Hearthstone. Surfeit and August Belmonts Iriscllliau were shiped to Laurel.
