DOUBLE FIAE drew away into a long lead in the first quarter, hut tired and quit under punishment near the end. HUSKY LAD steadily improved his position and finished gamely. MAD RIAER made up ground and was going fast at the end and catching the leaders with every stride. FIRBAL finished fast.
