ORHONDALE YEARLINGS SOLD IN ENGLAND. The one American breeder who has done , better this year by selling yearlings in England than he could probably have done in this country, is W. OB. Macdonongh of California. lie sent five yearlings over whieli were sold at Newmarket recently for an average of over .,400. The star of his consignment was the bay colt by Ossary Santa Bella, which brought the good sum of ,9S0. Names of purchasers have not been received as yet. but the figures of the sale have arrived and are as follows: Bay colt, bv Ossary Santa Bella, by St. Serf.? 5.9S0 Bay filly, by Ossary Tenebrae, by St. Carlo. 2.0S0 Bay colt, by Ossary Belle of Palo Alto, by Flambeau 1,500 Bay colt, by Orsini Reticella, by Heywood.. 1,4515 Bay colt, by Deutschland Gold Lace, by Ormonde 952 Total 2.03S Average ,407.00
