AMERICAN MARES FOR AUSTRO -HUNGARY. Lexington, Ky., November 15. George Miller left here today for New York with the thoroughbred stallion Canopus and eighteen mares and twelve foals from James B. Haggins Elmendorf Farm, that are to be sold at Budapest, Austro-IIungary, on December lis. They are to go by the steamship President Grant, sailing from New York Saturday to Hamburg. Germany, and thence by train to Budapest. The mares and foals are as follows: Doucement and filly by Star Ruby. Flower of Gold and lilly by Galveston. Hosiery and colt by Hessian. Minerva and filly by Watercress. Moderate and filly by Toddington. Osculation and colt by Watcrboy. Oriollta and filly by Waterboy. t Turquoise Blue and colt by Goldfinch. Victoria Cross and filly by George Kessler. Watertlower and filly by Royal Flush III. Watergrass and colt by Royal Flush III. Wild Star and filly -by Greenan. The barren mares are: Watcher. Very Good, Au-renli, Blue Gentian, Storion and African Girl.
