MARYLAND RACING SEASON ENDS. Getaway Day at Marlboro Brings Two Winning Favorites Plans for Columbia Meeting. Washington, D. C, November IS. This was getaway day at Marlboro and the largest crowd of the meeting turned out for the final day of racing in Maryland for this year. Seven races made up the program. The track was deep in mud. more rain having fallen last night. The public did not end the meeting in good style, as Tom Shaw and El Bart were the only successful favorites. Schweitzer won two races with Lucille R. and Montagnie, while Fairbrother made the same record with Cashin and EI Bart. Jockey Hopkln who had been at Norfolk for several days, was at tho track and rode in several races, but failed to win. N. K. Beal and J. G. Wagnon will ship their horses to Jamestown. The following list of oflicials for the Columbia meeting have been sent to the Jockey Club for approval: P. A. Brady, presiding judge; E. C. Smith, associate judge; nart Dernham, secretary; James Milton, starter, and A. N. Elrod, manager. The following bookmakers have applied for stands at Columbia: Joe Blutnc, J. W. Rico, S. A. Clopton. Smith and Porrv, C. L. Jones. Frank Tyler. Tom Shaw. C. Davids, Fred Cook, E. Collell, N. Shapiro. W. Armbruster, G. G. Voertman, J. Cahill and Charles Walter.
