SARATOGA FEELS LACK OF RACING. Saratoga. N. Y., Dccomlicr 13. George A. AVhccl-ock has sold bis probity at 190 Union avenue to J. A. P. Ketelium. The Whcelock proiiorty was one of the show places of Union avenue during the davs of racing prosperity, and when the sport thrived it was the scene of many elaborate bouse parties. Situated within a few blocks of the course of the Saratoga Association, it is in one of the most delightful stretches of the beautiful avenue and its passing from .Mr. Whcelock marks another racing desertion of the village. There have been several other sales since the failure to pass the Gittins bill at the last session of the Legislature, but none of the importance of the Whcelock transfer. Many of the summer residences are on the market, but the market is not as brisk as it was when racing was the annual attraction at tho Springs.
