REJECTS OFFER .OF ,000 FOR A YEARLING. E. R, Bradley Values Promising Youngster at Twice That Figure and Will Race Him, Charles nughes has offered .5,000 for the yearling son of Yankee Gun and Black Sail, owned by E. R. Bradley, of Chicago and tho Idle Hour Farm at Lexington. The colt Is valued by his owner at 0,000 and lias been named Brookfield. He is to be more than ordinarily entered in racing futures. Among his engagements is tho Kentucky Breeders Futurity of 1912. Mr. Bradley thinks that the colt will be the real "smasher" he has been trying so hard for years to breed or buy. Mr. Bradley has made eighteen nominations to the Coney Island Jockey Club Futurity of 1914. the produce to come of the following dams and sires: Wayward Lass Cunard; Philistia Cnnard; Black Tail Cunard; Stumpy Cunard; Minnie Adams-Cunard; Follies Bergeres Helmet; Bandello Cunard; Sister Carline St. Savin: Belle of Ormonde Rock Sand; Black Mary Cunard: Miss Bessie Cunard; Dorset Flower Cunard; Eonic Cunard: Princess Ti-tanla Cunard; Ella Smith Helmet; Tower of Candles Cunard; Whisk Broom Cunard. Of these mares Philistia is the dam of Beach Sand, Ella Smith of Sonia and Tower of Candles of Turret.
