LAPPELLE was badly outpaced to the stretch turn, from where she came fast and was drawing away at thp end. BONNIE BEE ran forwardly and gamely for the entire race. AVINNING SMILE siiowed the most early speed, but tired in the last furlong. BENORA came from far back in the stretch. DESCENDANT showed speed for a half mile and tired as if short. OOO A d. SIR EDWARD, from a slow beginning, moved un fast in the stretch and drew out decisively in the last sixteenth. YNCA ran well and saved much ground for the entire race, but could ont withstand the winner. CHILTON SQUAW finished fast, but was lucky to get third place. FLYING SQUIRREL set the pace to tho stretch, then tired and quit badly. LOYAL MAID ran poorly to the stretch, but finished well. KORONI quit. Overweights Chilton Squaw, 1 pound. WARNER GRISWELL moved along at an even pace throughout and, wearing tho leaders down in the last furlong, won going away. ROSEBURG II. ran in improved form and finished fast. FLARNEY also ran well and had no mishaps. BARX DAXCE. probably best, was turned sideways at the start and given a poor ride. GOLCONDA ran poorly and so did ANIMUS. LYDIA LEE quit badly after setting the pace to the iast furlong. The winner, entered for 100, was bid up to 150 and sold to XV. B. Carson. Scratched 99SS0 Catroke, 102. OAKLEY was outpaced for the first half, but moved up rapidly in the stretch and outgamed SEA SWELL at the end. The latter set a fast early pace, but quit badly after going a half mile. LOVE WATCHES was given a poor ride, but closed a gap and finished well. CLEM BBACHEY lost much ground by going wide. EMPEROR WILLIAM quit after going a quarter. JOE ROSE was well up for the entire race and made a gome effort. DOLLY BULTMAN finished well, but was given a weak ride and can do much better. HERBERT TURNER showed the most spe-d for three-quarters and tired. PROFILE ran a bail race.
