DATES FOR AMATEUR MEETINGS. Schedule Announced for Hunt Clubs and Steeplechase Associations in the East. Wew V.. ik. February 22. — The National Steeplechase and Hunt Association ha* announced the dates granted tor the race meetings to l e held under its jurisdiction this year. Applications received from the various hunt clubs ami steeplechase associations bare been greater than ever before in the history of this branch of racing. Three days nro allotted lo the Piping Bock Morse Show at Locust Valley. L. I. The Piping Hock races this season will lie inn over a newly constructed course. The dab will offer valuable trophies and arrange conditions of events that will attract good boraea. The Ramapo Steeplechase Association. whose grounds are at Hohokus — Tuxedo territory — New York, is a newcomer in the field of amateur racing. Charles Kohler. who is returning from England, is deeply interested in the success of this new meeting, which promises to equal any days sport held under the auspices of the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association in the Umpire State. The Middlesex Hunt. South Lincoln. Mass.. over which A. Henry Higginson presides, will race Wednesday. June 19. This will be during the period assigned to the Country Chili, making four days of racing in the vicinity of Boston. Mr. Hig-ginsous beautiful estate is adjacent to Brookline, BSd horsemen nominating to the fixtures of the Country Club are certain to take advantage of the Middlesex Hunt program. The dates for this seasons racing have been arranged in a manner to make shipments easy, as will 1 e seen by the schedule. This will undoubtedly insure co-operation on the part of owners, thereby 1. ringing together well-balanced fields of quality. The Richmond County Hunt. New Brighton. Staten Island, with Charles F.
