Mr. Seiby now has only King Stalwart and Little Cleo lure, having sold the rest of the horses be brought from Kentucky. He has Sandriau ami Sister Florence turned out in Kentucky and will take them up f..r the summer campaign. An especially large number of entries were made by the principal stables now racing at Juarez to the stakes to be run at Lexington, Louisville and I. a tonia the coming spring and swmsaer. Practically all the cracks which nave been racing here this winter will be among these nominations, as the principal stables here will tro to Kentucky. Judge Charles F. Price was forced to absent himself from the stand several days last week, owing to another attack Of illness. During his absence General Manager Matt J. Winn and Cant. W. II. Penchier supervised the lacing from the stewards stand. General Hernandez, of the Vasqaista forces, visited the track and expressed a desire to purchase several boraei for mounts for his command. He looked mainover carefully and probably will seli-ct those he may wish to buy tomorrow. Former jockey Frank Otis has iKWght Crossover from C. V. Lamar for ,200. The mare will be restored to good Standing upon proof being tiled that the sale is bona tide. It is Mr. Otis intention to race her at Louisville.
