STILL HOPING FOR LEGISLATION. Albany. N. Y.. March 18.— The measures Introduced in the Legislature by Assemblyman Cuvillier : make less stringent the provision of the ami race track betting law regarding the liability Of directors of racing associations, will now be referred to the Assembly committee on rules, instead of the Codes Committee, to which they asi li -t referred. ll la hoped that this important legislation will be reported favorably by thi- committee at once in order that these bili- max be acted upon before the linal adjournment of the Legislature March 20.
