WORK-OUTS OF CHARLESTON HORSES. Charleston. S. C. March 23. — Recent work-outs of borsea in training at Palmetto Park were as follows: Weather clear; track fast — Appassionata — Three-quarters in 1:18%. Has not been asked to show much fast work. Beach Sand — Three -quarters in 1:20. Has not been hurried of late. Bavell Lutz— Half mile in 52i/ . Bob 8L— Mile in 1:46%. Well in hand all the way. Capitan Bravo — Half mile in 51%. Has been let up on for some time. Capsize — Seven-eighths in 1:33%. Looks good after a short let up. Ootetta — Five-eighths in 1:06. Has not been doing much fast work. Charley Straus — Half mile in 53. Darling— Half mile in 55... Has not liecn asked to show much speed. Duval — Three-quarters in 1:18%. Looks good and ready to race to good form. Eaton — Three-quarters in 1:21. Frog--Sr veil eighths in 1:34%. Gowoll — Half mile in 58. Looks to be ready. Helen Earltee — Half mile in 50%. Shows speed In all her work and is good. Hatteras— Seven-eighths in 1:33. Shows some im provement. HolTman Mile in 1:4*2 Has all his early speed and looks to be ready. James Dockery — Half mile in "4. Jack Fllis Three quarters in 1:19. Coming around fast to his good form. Jes-up Burn Three-quarters in 1:18%. Has been showing good work for same time." Joe Rose — Seven eighths in 1:84%. Looks good and ready to race well. Lviu — Five eighths in 1:06%. Has been on the slow side, but looks good. I.eon B. — Seven eighths in 1:36. My Gal— Mile in 1:47. Was under a stiff pull and is ;it her best.
