PLAN TO RELIEVE RACING DIRECTORS New York May 6 The turf governors have made a new move which it is hinted Is part of a plan to revive racing in spite of the socalled directors liability law The first indication of concerted action takes the form of a printed set of rules and conditions on the back of each ticket issued for the Meadow Brook Steeplechase Association meeting at Belmout Park Terminal last Saturday The ticket read this way The purchaser or holder of this ticket or badge of admission accepts the same and is admitted to the grounds of the association upon the following express conditions 1 That he will not violate any provision of any statute prohibiting pool selling bookmaking or other gambling 2 That he will comply with and obey all the requirements rules and regulations prescribed by the association 3 That upon a breach of any of the above pro ¬ visions he will at tho request of any officer of the association immediately leave the grounds and the decision of such officer that such breach has occurred shall be final 4 That upon failure to comply with such ro quest he may be removed upon the order of any officer of the association without any reason being given therefor 3 That he expressly waives all claims of any kind against the association or any officer thereof for such expulsion No person who has been ruled off the grounds of any association can be qdmittcd by this badge badgeIt It is set forth that this plan would make it Im ¬ possible to hold racetrack directors liable for bet ¬ ting with or without their knowledge and Uiat county authorities would not be in a hurry toln stitutc criminal proceedings
