LAWBENCE BEALIZATION DECLABED OFF New York May 10 One of the richest and most coveted of racing fixtures was declared off yester ¬ day when the Coney Island Jockey Club made of ¬ ficial announcement that there would be no running of the Lawrence Realization Not only was the race declared off for 1912 but it ceases to have any place In racing Last year the race was not run but the club was hopeful that it would be possible to still keop it among the big turf prizes and the stake itself was not declared off By this most re ¬ cent action of the club the Realization is no more The Realization was a race for threeyearolds first run in 1889 and was renewed annually from that date until racing was suspended in New York State last year The first running of the race was marked by the meeting of Salvator and Tonny the greatest rivals of the time It was won by Salvator ridden by James McLaughlin with Tenny second and Long Dance third thirdIt It was the race in which Fitz Herbert In 1909 made the American record of 245 for one mile and fiveeighths when he took the measure of Olambali and Fayette It was a race in which the mighty Commando was just beaten by The Parader in 1901 1901The The winners besides those already mentioned were Tournament Potomac Tammany Daily America Dobbins Bright Phoebus Requital The Friar Hamburg Ethelbert Prince of Melbourne Major Daiugerfield Africander Ort Wells Sysonby Accountant Dinna Ken Fair Play and Sweep
