AUSTRALIAN HORSES IN INDIA Among the most recent Importations into India is the Sydney Cup winner Saxonlte a brown gelding by Sir Tristram Carronade which last March ran another good race when he deadheated with Prize ¬ fighter for the Australian Cup Saxonlto was pur ¬ chased for H H the Kour Sahib of Patiala by his trainer Tom Scott and is now in Poona If he Is properly acclimated by next Christmas the gelding may have to be reckoned with in the Viceroys Cup Mr Scott also brought from Australia the New Zealandbred Gunboat which won a milo and a half race at Sydney In the good time of 235 and a horse of his own called Kurnell by True Blue out of Importance which since he was purchased by his present owner won a mile and a quarter race at Melbourne with 125 pounds on his back Kurnell Is at Pooua with Sasouite
