WOODFORDCHINN SHIPMENT ABROAD Louisville Ky September 19 Catesby AVoodford has arranged to ship the pick of his thoroughbred rnarcs now at Raceland Farm in Bourbon county to Germany al out October 1 to be sold and Phil T hinii will send all his mares to that country at the same time All told sixtyseven head have been listed for shipment Fiftylive of these are mares supposed to he in foal to Star Shoot Orlando Peter Pan ind other noted sires while the remaining twelve head are yearling fillies filliesThe The shipment means the virtual retirement as thoroughbred breeders of Messrs AVoodford and liinn though both still have a small band of horses in training Colonel Wood ford is president of tin Kentucky Association and has been contemplating letiring as a breeder for some time The mares Mr tliinn will ship abroad are those he gathered to ¬ gether when hi was conducting an extensive racing stable i few years back
