RUMBLING FROM INDIANA SEAT OF WAR An Associated Press dispatch of yesterday from Hammond Ind stated that racing would be re ¬ sumed over the Mineral Springs track on Friday or Saturday of this week Considering that jockeys owners and horses have left the track for other parts the statement seems a joke but some prolect to secure a new technical legal point may iwssibly be in contemplation A part of the dispatch says that President A F Knotts of the company said Governor Marshall who ordered out the militia ti stop alleged gambling at the track would have to keep the troops at the course all winter to prevent the completion of the fifteendays meeting allowed by law It is believed here that if racing is started again troops also will bo ordered out again
