CONNATJGHT PARK WORK DELAYED Ottawa Quc Can December C James K Pais ¬ ley chairman of the Construction committee of the IViunaught Park Jockey Club announced yesterday ihat everything would be in readiness at the iww plant for the inaugural meeting which is to be held from June 14 to 21 next under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Racing Associations In order to riisti the work Hie committee decided not to abandon op rations during the winter months but to double the staff and to keep them at work as long as Uie weather would permit Consequently Bradley Wheel ¬ er now lias 150 men under him hurrying the work on the Ay liner Road track trackThe The grading will lie completed within two weeks The buildings have already licon finished Tliw clnl decided to erect a number of extra stables and will have 150 of these for the spring meeting The grading occasioned delay but everything will soon foe In readiness Tlie men will probably lie fonvd to lay off during January and February Imt as soon as the snow Is off the ground they will resume oiwratlons His Royal Highness the Duke of Coi naught will preside over the inaugural ceremonies at the opening which will tube place between the spring meetings at Montreal aiid Hamilton
