PARI-MUTUEL BILL FOR TEXAS. Biccdcis of Lone Star State Backing Measure Tint Is About to Be Introduced in Legislature. BI Paso, Tex., January 11. There i- said to tie some chance for the repeal of the Texas anti-betting law and the enactment of a measure that will permit racing with the pari mutttels during the present biennial session of the Texas Legislature. The Texas Legislature convened January 2. and a bill to repeal the anti betting law will be present ed without delay. It i- declared that Governor Co! quit i- favorable to the racing Interests, and that he will sign any hill that will permit racing with the parl-mutuels.
