RAIN AFFECTS PIMLICO TRAINING Italtimorc Md April 30 It had been intended to open the field for schooling at Pinilico yesterday but owing to the rain which made the turf soft it was thought best ty postpone the opening until today Notwithstanding the muddy track several of the trainers had their strings out giving tlitm a little slow exercise Among those out were Willie Mar ¬ tin with The Hump and four others Captain Pres grave with Bwana Tumbo Acton and a bunch of twoyearolds Billy Garth with his big string Louis Fuestel with the Itelmout horses Jack Golds Iiorougli with Textile and the rest of his string Harry Kites with a big band J W Bnrtschcll with Question Mark and others Anthony Allen with Cloud Willing and L Navarre Mike Daly with Sand Hog Kossfenton and two others Gwyn Tomp kins with King Cash and two others
