ALL READY TOR BLUE BONNETS MEETING Montreal Que May 19 The program book for the spring meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club at Blue Bonnets June 310 is out All classes of horses have l oen catered to The Canadianowned horses have been especially well looked after there being eight events for them one being the Connaught Cup with au increased entry over last season whQii it was first run The other seven events for Canadianowned and bred horses are handicaps including the AVilsqn Challenge Cup Steeplechase two and a half miles milesThere There are four open stakes three of which are on the flat and one through the field These have filled well Along with the stakes are nine handi ¬ caps at popular distances for threeyearolds and over two of them being for steeplechasers There will be seven races each day with the possibility of eight on one day as it is permissible under the rules of the Canadian Racing Associations to run fifty races during the period of seven days at any one track trackTlie Tlie going at Blue Bonnets was never in better condition than it is this spring An early ieu season enabled working it at a much earlier date than in former years The locally owned horses are already going along at a lively gait The whole plant has been ovorhauleil ami put in condition for tin opening of the meeting which is only a little over two weeks away The applications for stabling room indicate that there will bo excellent racing material available and that the majority xof the Canadian circuit regulars will return this year
