NEW TRACK TO OPEN SATURDAY Montreal One June 10 The opening of the Connaught Park Jockey Club meeting at Ottawa next Saturday is looked forward to with much interest This meeting rounds out the Canadian Bacing Associ ¬ ations circuit and eliminates the broken time tint liorc hard on horse owners in previous seasons since the limit of meetings was placed at seven days The establishment of racing til the capital too is particularly helpful to Montreal as two weeks of racing can now be had on the extreme eastern end of the circuit The plant at Connaught Park is a line one and owners speak highly of the ac ¬ commodation provided for horses the stabling being declared the best on any race course in Canada CanadaAll All the important stables will bo represented at the approaching meeting which will be in chaw of wellknown officials J J Burke is to IM the tlilcf steward Francis NYlson presiding judge A P Dado starter and Fred Gerhardy dork of the cales while A It London secretary of tho Hamil ¬ ton Joekev Club is racing secretary and will lie In general charge of that part of the meeting A number of stables that did not come to Montreal from Woodbine will go to Ottawa while others went direct from Baltimore and the south to Counaught Park
