NOTES OF THE TURF The Belmout Park schooling list has been re ¬ duced to four horses Cliff Maid Fathom Salon and Yodeling YodelingIt It is understood that Robert Davies will send Southern Maid to Saratoga to run iu the Futurity at the end of August AugustSix Six carloads of horses will leave Belmont Park for Saratoga today The horses of II P Whitney Frederick Johnson and F Manuix will make up the shipment shipmentBarney Barney Schreiber who went East in the spring with fifteen colts and lillies has got rid of all but four which he says are the pick of the lot If he doesnt get rid of them soon he will ship them to Saratoga The four are the bay colt Harry Shaw by Sain Hand Bell brown colt Smoky Dan by Otis Yokohama bay filly by Sain Sainless and the threeyearold brown colt Zefiro by Otis Bag shot All have been showing good work at Sheeps Iwad Bay BayAmong Among the latest arrivals at Saratoga are Moe Goldblatt with ten horses the property of 1 Livingston T C McDowell with fifteen W J Young six 1 O Keene fourteen James Mac Mauus eleven Frank D Weir twelve including the twoyearold Old Rosebud Frank E Brown with three W G Yanke ten The notable horses at Saratoga include M B Grubers twoyearold Little Nephew II II Emmons Rudolfo C F Buschemeyers Hawthorn and A L Astes Ten Point PointUnless Unless the horsemen from the West arc all wrong the twoyearolds that have been shown at Belmont Park will have to be content with little at Saratoga Mose Goldblatt who has seen Old Rosebud in all of his races says that he is one of the greatest twoyearolds that ever looked through a bridle If he was led into a sales ring and no one knew who he was said Mr Goldblatt he would sell for a couple of hundred dollars but lie is a real horse though he does not look it He is a ragged sort but also a rugged sort and he does everything that a good horse should do and he does it better than any others New York Telegraph
