GOSSIP FROM KENTUCKY SOURCES SOURCESLouisville Louisville Ky August S W G Yanke expects to take up the noted mare Round the World early In September and endeavor to train her once more before she is retired to the stud She is reported to be doing well at the Carr farm near Lexington where she has IKMMI turned out for over two months Yiinke will probably not make any attempt to race her before the Juarez winter meeting and veterinari ¬ ans have advised him that If ho pursues such a course with the daughter of Lackford she will surely stand racing again The mare has always raceii well at Juarez and this Is the reason Mr Yanke has concluded to make one more attempt to rnee her before she finally qnits the turf Another racer Mr Yanke has at the Oirr farm is the speedy gelding Gilpy which he will also again take to Juarez next winter winterStucco Stucco the twoyearold lialfbrother to The Roach in the stable of Weber Ward at Douglas Park Is doing well this summer and bids fair to be useful during the coming fall racing campaign on the Kentucky tracks Both Gay Bird and Solar Star In this string are also now training In the lk st of form and It looks as if the latter is sure to race back to his good form as a juvenile performer last year Triiiner Ward has entered Solar Star liberally for the fall stakes at Douglas Park Churchill Downs iind Latonla Hay Bird bus done letter racing this season anil will lie one of the fresh performers for the fall meetings this year
