ENTRIES FOR PIMLICO STAKES. Baltimore, Md., October S. The Maryland Jockey Club stakes, recently closed, were well patronized. Two of these stakes, the Olabaugh Memorial Cup and the Pimlieo Nursery, are for yearlings, foals of 11112, and will be run during the spring meeting of 1!M. The other two stakes, the Walden and the Bowie, are to be run at the coming fall meeting at Pimlieo. The Clabaugh Memorial Cup, which is for foals bred In Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania, and therefore more or less local in character, lias rl entries from 22 different owners. The Pimlieo Xur-serv, which is open to all yearlings, has SS entries from 2S different owners. The Walden, for two-year-olds at one mile, has 30 entries from 21 different owners. Also eligible to start in this stake are the colts that were entered for the Clabaugh Memorial and Pimlieo Nurserv, which events were run during the spring meeting of 1013, upon payment by these colts of the starting fee only, which is 30. The Bowie, a Handicap for three-year-olds and upward, two miles, has twenty-seven entries from 20 different owners. The conditions of the stakes and the entries therefor are as follows: Clahaugh Memorial Cup. For two-year-olds, foals of 1012, bred in Maryland, Virginia or Pennsylvania. To be run at the spring meeting of 101-1. Bv subscription of .0 each, starters to pay 5 additional, to the winner, with ,000 added, of which 00 to the second and 00 to the third. The .Maryland Jockey Club to add plate to the value of 00 to the breeder of the winner. Weights: Colts, 115 pounds; fillies and geldings. 112 pounds.
