FLEX made a game effort during the stretch drive, but was unable to overhaul the winner. COUNTERPART began slowly and finished going fastest of all. CELESTA made up ground and finished close up. YORKVILLE tired badly after going a half mile. LOUISE PAUL set the early pace and tired after running a fast half. FLORA FINA trailed far back of the leaders for the first two miles and a half and moved up gamelv until having passed the finish, when she fell exhausted PRINCE EUGENE tired badly after setting the pace at a slow rate for three mlUs.
