" KORFHAGE began fast and, setting a fast pace all the way, outstayed BAC in the final drive. BAC ran in closest and game pursuit all the way, but could not get up. CANDY BOX closed a gap and finished fast and gamely. HARBARD ran a good race. LOST FORTUNE began slowly and made up much ground. F EXPECTATION 1 ran away a quarter before the start. WEYANOKE was hard ridden all the way and ran a good and game race. -, THE GRADER suffered from much interference and closed a big gap in tiie stretch. HENRY RITTE was v well no all the way. WATEBBASS, away forwardly, wore KING WORTH down on the stretch turn and took a good stretch lead, but was tiring fast at the end. KING WORTH showed the most speed and, coming again j in the stretch after seemingly badly beaten, almost got up to win. BRONZEWING closed a good gap into a good third. KING McDOWELL showed speed and tired in the last eighth. DROLL showed i speed. MISS BARN HARBOR was moving up fast when she tripped and fell. GUIDE POST, well ridden and lucky, showed the most speed for the entire way and held OCEAN QUEEN safe in the final drive. OCEAN QUEEN was well up in cTose pursuit throughout and finished gamely. CORDIE F. closed a big gap and came fast in the stretch. AVISIIING RING also made up ground and was gaining fast in the stretch. GOLD OF OPIIIR ran well up all the way. WINNING WITCH set the early pace and ran well, but was forced wide in the stretch and lost ground. CREAM ran fairly well. JOE DEIBOLD ran far below his best form.
