HAREBELL, after being outrun to the stretch turn, finished with a rush and, having disposed of the tiring leaders in the last sixteenth, won going away. LADY GRANT began slowlyjind was much used in getting to tht fronfnnd lired in the final strides. THELMA J. set the early pace and. after being passed, came again and would have been second in a few more strides. VIOLET MAY closell a big gap. RALPH LLOYD began slowly and steadily improved his position into a game third. INFERNO QUEEN ran well throughout. HOMECREST- was away badly and closed a great gap. BATTERY also made up much, ground. MONTRESOR outbroke the others and showed much the most speed for five-eighths, but was tiring at the finish and barely managed to win. ISIDORA ran well from the start and, finishing with a game k ilfort, was wearing the winner down at the end. SICKLE showed much early speed, but tired in the stretch rive and may have been short. A55YIADE was crowded back at the start and closed a big gap. SCALLYWAG ran gamely, but was always outpaced. PROGRESSIVE was away poorlv and unlucky. GEORGE ENO moved up with a rush when going to the last fence, but made a bad landing and went down behind. CLELLS SISTER was a forward contender all the way. but was a distant third at the end. THE ELEPHANT fell at the thirteenth jump and FRED ESSEN at the ninth, while YARICO lost his rider at the first. GOLDY closed a big gap and finished with a rush into a fast gaining third. MY FELLOW made up ground. OAKHURST finished fast. CHAS. F. GRAINGER made up ground.
