The master of the Treadwell House stable easily heads the list of winning trainers in England so far this year. in German racing. Baron S. A. von Oppenhtims winnings in stakes during the present year amount to 1.1U5.810 francs 33,100, the result of fifty-seven victories. Messrs. A. and C. von Weinberg have had sixty-seven wins, with a total of 011,515 francs 22,300. She is now in foal to Louviors. and was sold together with her good colt foal by Spearmint. Major Wise has also acquired La Danseiise. by Ladas. out of Polka therefore own sister to the Royal Hunt Cup winner, Csardas in foal to Llansibby. The most successful period of riding F. Wootton has enjoyed in England this year was in the month of August, when he scored, eight- wins without an intervening defeat. These successes were on Ar-mant at Kempton Park August 13: Marco Prunella, Young Pegasus and Glorvina at Kempton Park August 14: Flipperty and Siller at Windsor August 15. and the Kroonstad-Bad Mark filly and Thtstleton at Windsor. August 10. The sequence was terminated when, on" Work Girl, he finished second to Vincilla in the Rothschild Plate on the last-named date at Windsor.
