FASCINATING, showing a high order of speed from the start, set an extremely fast pace for the first half mile and won comfortably, but had to lie ridden out to retain her advantage. OROTUND was a forward contender all the way, but tired in the strctcli and just lasted long enough to outstay FL1TAWAY. The latter was wearing the leaders down in a game final effort. ORDERLY NAT fenced well and showed much seed for a mile and a half, but had to be hard ridden through the last eighth. GOLDEN raced forwardly all the way, but tired and just lasted long enough to outstay PINK AND BLACK. The latter finished with a belated rush and Is promising. J. C. EWALT lost his rider while running on the flat after taking the third jump. RACE WELL fenced well, but tired. MYSTIC LIGHT can do better. BUSKIN was saved under restraint for the first mile, then wore the leaders down steadily in the last half and, finishing resolutely, outstayed BARNEGAT in the final drive. The latter made a game effort while rounding the far turn in the last time around and easily disposed of the pacemakers, but tired in the last eighth. STAR GAZE was a forward contender all the way and made a game, but tiring, finish. PANDORINA could never get up and was always outpaced. RINGLING set the pace for a mile and a half, then tired and quit. At the distance FLYING FAIRY was overweighted nnd never dangerous. Scratched 12347aKnight of Uncas. 100: 124Sl2Tay Pay. 100. MADELINE L. moved in rapidly in the second turn of the field and, easily disposing of her opposition, drew awav into a long lead and was only cantering at the end. SHANNON RIVER was outrun early and finished fast when of no avail. CLAN ALPINE ran close up all the way and fenced well. FOXCRAFT lost his rider at the thirteenth fence and MO his at the seventh. GENESTA forced PERTHSHIRE along at a fast pace to the stretch turn, where she passed into the lead and drew away to win easing up. PRINCE AHMED was outrun for the first half, but finished with a rush into a fast going second. PERTHSHIRE tired badly in the last eighth after setting a fast early pace and probably was still short. ROCK FISH also began slowly and closed a big gap, but tired after moving up fast on the stretch turn. FROG ran well and had a rough race through the last quarter. STELCLIFF closed a big gap in the last quarter after being in the rear to the last turn. MOISANT tired after running well to the stretch. LITTLE EP set the pace to the stretch and quit.
