NEW MARKETS FOR THE THOROUGHBRED. Lexington, Ky., November 15. The Lexington Herald in the course of an editorial commenting upon and commending the appointment of Dr. Arthur Yeager, of Georgetown, to Ix governor of Porto Rico, today said: "Kentucky has a special interest in Porto Rico at present. A bill, modeled after the bill creating the racing commission in Kentucky, has leen passed by the Legislature of Porto Rico. Under it racing will be held and if it is a success, and there is every reason to believe It will lie, Porto Rico first and the other islands of tbe West Indies jtiuld become great markets for Kentucky thoiotighbicds."
