BEHEST finished fast and was catching the leader witli every stride. MORDECA1 was a forward contender from the start, hut tired under punish ment in the linal drive. NO MANAGER was crowded back at the start and made up ground. MARY WARREN ran well. BILLY STUART closed a gap. MELOS was saved under restraint until in the last turn of the field, where he ran Into an easy lead after RACEBROOK was pulled up, but was under a drive all of the last quarter to outstay RAGUSA. The latter moved up on the inside with a game rush after entering the homestretch, but tired after appearing to have the winner beaten. SYOSSKT fenced well and went to the leader with a good burst of speed when going to the last jumps and finished on the outside of the first two, but failed to quite get up. RACEBROOK set the pace, but bit the eighth fence and went to his knees, then his bridle came off and he was pulled up. Overweights Bound Brook. 1 pound; Vclslni, 1. PROGRESSIVE finished fast after going around on the outside. GOLD CAP set the early pace and tired in the stretch drive. GUY FISHER began slowly. but saved ground when entering the homestretch and almost got up to win in a game finish. WATER WELLES raced lapiied on the winner to the stretch and tired, but finished close up. GENESTA ran a good race and is at her best.
