NOTES OF THE TURF FROM OTHER LANDS. II. Jelliss will again ride as first jockey to T. -Jennings stable next season. The Belgian sporting papers state that it is probable that Mr. Frank Jay Gould will send several horses to that country to be trained at Groenendael next year. The English riders Longhurst and G. Pullin sailed from Southampton last week for South Africa, but will be in England again next season. Pullin has been engaged to ride for Sir Abe Bailey. Iu Austria-Hungary Baron von Mautner heads the list of winning owners for the year with 70,650 to his credit. Jauek is at the top of the jockeys list with SO wins, B. Carslake being second with 5S. Frank ONeill heads the list of winning jockeys for the past season in France with a total of 102 victories in 763 mounts. He thus beats all French records, including his own, established last year with 14S wins.
