t TEN POINT THE STAR OF THE ASTE STABLE .... ; : Anthony L. Aste, commonly called "Tony" by his New York friends and acquaintances, did not attain as great a measure of success this year with his sterling colt, Ten- Point, as he had good reason to expect, but he has at least the satisfaction of kribwing ho owns, a smashing good three-year-old that is not far from being about the best horse in this country today. Owning a good horse is no novelty to him. for quite a while back he owned, among others, the crack colt, Nasturtium, and sold him to William C. Whitney for ii sum sufficient to render the ordinary person comfortable for life. Phyllis Antoinette and Goldy raced usefully for Aste and, whatever his disappointments mav have been, he can point to stable earnings that constitute quite an advance oyer the ?4.,000 won for-Dim by his horses in 1912. His record for 1913 is: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree; . 1st. 2d. 3d.
