KETTLEDRUM, suddenly improved and away forwardly, showed the most early speed and raced gamelv all the wav, but was not good enough. ROGER GORDON tired after running a good half mile. HOCNIR moved up fast on the stretch turn, but ran wide and was not strongly urged 111 the stretch, probably being short. JABQT ran close up under restraint for seven-eighths and moved into a clear lead on the stretch turn, but tired near the end. EARL OK SAVOY came with a rush through the stretch. SPINDLE tired after setting the pace for a mile. DYNAMITE showed speed, but tired in the stretch. ELLA GRANE quit badly and CUAS. F. GRAINGER ran poor race.
