FLORENCE BIRCH was always prominent in the running and finished fast and close up. WICKET was crowded out right after the start and closed an immense gap in the last quarter. DYNAMO closed a gap early and ran into a brief stretch lead, but quit in the last eighth. There was some crowding ou the last turn and MALAY went down. AMON falling over him.
