NEWSY ITEMS FROM BLUE GRASS REGION. Lexington, Ky.. February 7. Harry Payne Whitneys young Hamburg stallion, Burgomaster, arrived from New York this morning to make the season at John II. Morris Bosque Bouita Stud in Woodford County. Mr. Morris lias shipped to James Evermau to be trained at Louisville, the racers Toronto, Sin-alco. Flaming Flamingo, March half-sister to Forward, Woodburn, Lady Charcot, Miss Charcot and the two-year-old chestnut colt by Gohlcrest Mary Agnes. Forelock, the dam of Forward, died recently while foaling a colt by Knight of the Thistle. The colt also died. August Belmonts St. Simon stallion. Singleton, was shipped tills morning to Virginia to make the season at W. M. Atkinsons place near Berryviile. At the Nursery Stud. Nineveh dam of Norman III., winner of the Two Thousand Guineas, Newmarket St. Leger and other stakes in England, has a bay filly by Fair Play, and Anna Russell has a chestnut colt by Trap Rock. R. T. Wilsons Geiiesta arrived here from New York this week to be mated with Olambala. W. J. Young lias taken up Dr. Samuel and Sam Ilirsch.
