STATISTICS OF ENGLISH RACING IN 1913, The Tecentlv issued Racing Calendar, giving statistics of Hat" racing in England for the year 1913, shows that 1,754 races were run in England and Scotland, which were contested by 4,005 horses. In Ireland 350 races were run of the value in first money of a fraction over 01,115, but the number of horses starting is not stated. For the second time in the history of English racing the total of first money won in England was more than two and a hair millions of dollars, being the sum or ,593,3G5. Scotlands total was 0,925.
