JAMES BUTLER ON EASTERN RACING PLANS. 171 Iaso, Tex., February 10. The big division of the James Rutler stable that remains in charge of R. C. Roifou tit the Empire City track will be cam-, palgncd on the New York tracks this season and numerous engagements have been made for the two-year-olds that make up the string. "It is somewhat early to go into details regarding the plans for racing in New York the coming spring aud summer," Ir. Rutler said, in discusslug the matter here, "but you can rest assured there will be more and better racing than the metropolis Has witnessed since the sport was revived. The season will open at Belmont Park, after which the scene will shift to Jamaica. A meeting will then be held nt Aqueduct and afterwards there will be a session of fifteen days at Empire City. The latter track lias been kept in good repair since the last meeting there, and but little work will be necessary to get. it into shape."
