DOROTHY DEAN never far awav in the earlv running, came around the leaders on the far turn and, coming last in tlie hist eighth, outgamed VESTED RIGHTS and drew away to win easing up. VESTED RIGHTS set a fast earlv pace and tired in the stretch, but finished gamely. SOSIUS ran a good race, but began to lire in the final eighth. JOHN REARDON was beaten off at the end. HODGE raced out with ORR to the lower turn, but tired and swerved out in the stretch. LEMON JOE ran well. The others were always outpaced.
